I am not even qualified.

I'm only human.

I snore. I don't shower every day. I go to bed early. I work in my pajamas. I like to dig in the dirt. I drink too much diet pepsi. I'm mouthy. I roll my eyes. I don't call my kids every day. I don't call my mother every day. I made spaghetti for guests with no meat. On purpose. I don't fix supper every night. I don't clean my bathroom. I forget to get the mail. I skip meals. My gas tank is always under half, in the winter. I sneak stuff into foods to make it healthy. I go to the grocery store hungry.

How on earth can God use someone like that?

I'm only human. I break rules.

Why would God want to use someone like me?

Because.

Because He loves me.

And he loves you.

Thankfully Mary said, "Yes" when God asked her to be a mother. Thankfully Moses said, "Here I am, use me," even when he could barely speak a sentence and wanted his brother to speak for him. And Jonah. He ran in the other direction!

Sometimes the first step in serving God, is saying "yes".

Drop the net.

Follow Him.

You don't have to be qualified. God will use you for his Kingdom if you let him.
