One Word. Laminin. Never heard of it before.
But after spilling coffee on my jeans yesterday morning, finding my car battery dead, and Tim getting stuck in the driveway with the 4wd vehicle, I needed to be held together yesterday. My trivial pout is but dust. How can we let things rule our emotions that have no eternal significance?
Thankfully I finally make it to church and during Sunday School we listen to Louie Giglio. And at the end he explains Laminin. The video below is about 8 minutes, but make sure you listen to the last 4-5 minutes where he explains what Laminin is.
Colossians 1:17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Indeed.
I've seen a lot of 'one word' blog posts about resolutions for the year. And I'm picking Laminin as my word. Because without Christ in my life, I would fall apart on a daily or hourly basis about things that don't matter. About things that other people do. About nothingness.
Do you have a word for 2012?
